Team Essence will once again undertake an ultra endurance challenge in aid of the NSPCC and race against the world’s best paddlers. The race follows the route of the Klondike gold rush in testament to the fortitude of gold prospectors, centuries before. Unlike most other events, the Yukon 1000 race is unique for its requirement for ultimate self-reliance as it is a remote and dangerous environment.
The current race record stands at 6 days, 2 hours, 11 minutes. Team Essence will attempt to break this record, while raising funds for the NSPCC.
The race begins on Sunday July 22nd 2018 in Whitehorse, Yukon, CA.
